I am a cis gendered, heterosexual white woman, with all of this comes an enormous amount of privilege, my voice is more likely to be listened to. So with that i need to use it for good and for bringing attention to causes and issues i know aren’t getting enough attention. We all need to be aware of this privilege and therefore power and use it for good! i hope that as a company i support and promote other female owned and designed businesses but i also want to be a force for everyone else who doesn’t get the attention and recognition they deserve.

I have had a few people day they have an issue with the word empower, to that i say don’t get it confused too much with power and the white power connotations it throws up. I have power as a white heterosexual women that other women do not have and i will always use mine to help raise and give a voice to others. I know that a lot of people use their power for bad to that i say we need to shout louder and longer than they do.
